2022 AGMA Technical Committee Activity
Thanks to our many hardworking volunteer committee members, 2022 was a productive year for the AGMA Technical Division with the publication of two new and three revised information sheets. Among the publications, the AGMA Bevel Gearing committee revised AGMA 929-C22, Calculation of Bevel Gear Top Land and Guidance on Cutter Edge Radius, which has expanded calculations to anywhere along the face width instead of just the toe, mean, and heel.
GWJ Technology Releases Latest Version of SystemManager
GWJ Technology GmbH presents the new version of its system calculation software SystemManager as an extension of its well-known solutions eAssistant as a web solution and TBK as a classic desktop application. SystemManager is a system calculation for designing and optimizing various types of gear systems, ranging from multi-stage cylindrical gearboxes to power-split transmissions, manual gearboxes, and any types of planetary geartrains and worm and bevel gearboxes. This is a true multishaft system, i.e., the SystemManager is based on a FE multishaft system with gears as nonlinear coupling elements.
